Imagine a mouthful of fresh blackcurrants, dipped in chocolate - decadent flavours of cocoa and juicy bursts of sweet-sharp fruit. This medium dark roast is a showcase of the blenders' art, combining juicy Kenyan, caramelly Colombian and deep, cocoa-toned Brazil.

We roast coffee fresh to order every Tuesday. Please order before 9am on Tuesday for delivery by the weekend.

Ingredients: 100% Arabica Coffee Beans. For maximum deliciousness, enjoy as soon as possible. If you have any left, just reseal the pack and keep in a cool, dark place. Roasted and packed in the UK by Taylors of Harrogate, HG2 7LD.

This medium dark roast emphasises the blackcurrant notes

Our coffee specialist Rick roasts this fairly slowly, stretching out the development time after first crack.
It transforms the lemony brightness of the Kenyan into something sweeter - that's where the fresh blackcurrant flavours come from.
The Brazilian and the Colombian add depth, lending notes of chocolate and caramel to make the blend rounded and complex.
And because we roast to order, the flavours will be freshly roasted when the coffee arrives through your letterbox.

Our Kenyan coffee is from Nyeri

It's processed at the Karii washing station, part part of the Mutira Co-oparative.
The fertile soil, high altitude and passionate farmers are a recipe for an incredible cup.
It's staggeringly juicy - a washed coffee which is positively bursting with flavours of ripe blackcurrant and sunny citrus fruits, drizzled with sweet notes of honey

Our Colombian is from La Plata, Huila

We have worked with the farmers of the San Sebastian Co-op for over a decade, and the quality of their beans continues to reach new levels.
This stunning washed coffee opens up with a silky smooth butterscotch flavour.
Then it unleashes notes of juicy berries and a really unusual flourish - a gorgeous hint of elderflower.

Our Brazil coffee hails from Fazenda Plato Azul

The farm is in Cerrado Mineiro, Minas Gerais - and the coffee is one of the standouts of this season's harvest.
It's an incredible example of a classically full-bodied Brazilian dark chocolate flavour profile, with a touch of sweet praline.
And it also offers some dazzling twists all of its own - notes of strawberry creams and ripe blueberries.
